Table tennis is a contactless ball sport played with a bat. Unlike similar sports, such as tennis, badminton or squash, the playing surface divided by a net into two halves in table tennis is the top of the table above ground level, along which the players move. It is played either in two rival players (singles) or in two rival pairs of players (doubles)
